I was born in Rome, in 1978, to a roman family that has been here for generation. I have always lived two steps away from the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, in the heart of Rome. And This is why Rome has such a fundamental part in my life. I studied ancient Latin and Greek’s classics during high school and then I kept studying archeology, history of art and conservation. In 2004 I started working as a conservator specialized in precious metals and... ancient weapons! This peculiar job gave me the opportunity to work in beautiful roman churches, as Santa Maria in Aracoeli, and in important Museums like Palazzo Venezia and Castel Sant'Angelo. While working I kept studying to obtain the Tourist Guide license. To be a tourist guide has always been my secret dream! I succeeded in 2013 and since then I’ve been investing my time in the tourist business, working with different tour operators, or privately for families and individuals. Visiting Rome with me will make you feel like a local.
I could guide you to the most famous places of Rome, the historycal center, the Colosseum or the Vatican Museum, but also off the beaten track, looking for a more typical city, far away from the crowd and the large and confusing groups. It’d be like having a friend abroad who will give you suggestions on bars, restaurants and shops, or where to see unforgettable spots or panoramic views that will take your breath away. Without forgetting to amaze you, telling you stories about the marvellous beauty of the Eternal City. Some ideas for a Tour with me:
Rome in a day: beginning at the Colosseum, walking along the ancient areas of the city and then to Piazza Venezia, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. (6hrs tour included 1hr lunch break)
Vatican and baroque Rome: tour starts at the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, St Peter's Basilica and then walking to piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps (7 hrs included 1hr lunch break)
Rome for families: The Ancient Rome for the kids or Walking Tour through the main squares, looking for strange stautues, marble animals...playing a little treasure hunt that will keep the little one busy and entertained, but not only them! (3hrs each tour)
